
How to install
1) For the first installation of OTP download the installer from
(Or click on the Download link on left menu).
Installation is available only for registered customers.
To register with LucidDream Software Inc., please send your
request to and get the login and password
information for downloading the installer.
If you already have the previous version of the OTP server then the
installer would prompt you to update it.
After OTP server has worked for some time on your computer the Online
Update procedure would be checking the available updates from Lucid
server on a regular basis and automatically update necessary parts of
the server.
2) Run the installer on your computer. Select a drive for installing
the OTP server software

3) The installer includes also the installer for JAVA 1.4.2 because
OTP server works within the JAVA virtual machine. If JAVA VM is
already installed on your computer, then you can skip this
installation and use the existing JAVA VM pressing the "Skip java
installation". Press "Continue" to install JAVA VM now.
4) The installer would find an existing version of OTP server on the
computer and would prompt the user to copy the database files and the
license file to a new install, which is done into a different location
from the existing version
5) Installer for the Sentinel dongle driver is included into the OTP
installer. The driver is necessary to enable PDF Connect decryption
functionality. You can skip installation of the driver if you already
have it on your computer.
6) After installation is complete you should reboot the computer.
7) OTP server is setup as a Windows service and will be automatically
started when the computer boots the system.
8) After installation OTP server woks with a temporary license for 30
days. During this period the Administrator of OTP server should
request and install the license, which would work for the specified
computer and enable the purchased number of concurrent connections.
License request and installation are done using the special
